Autocentrum BARTH a.s., registered office: Hůrka 1798, 530 12 Pardubice - Dubina, Company ID No.: 252 78 924, entered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, Section B, Insert 1707, as the controller of personal data (“BARTH”), email contact: gdpr@barth.cz , cares deeply about the protection of your personal data. Please read how BARTH processes your personal data, how it is handled, and how it is protected.

We process your personal data if you are a business partner, customer, or visitor of the BARTH websites.

What personal data do we process?

Primarily the data necessary to fulfil a contract concluded based on your order, such as identification details: your first and last name, delivery address (or permanent residence address), telephone number, and email address.

How long will we keep your personal data?

If you sign a contract with us or order goods or services, we need to retain your personal data not only for the duration of the contract but also after we deliver the ordered goods or services. This is due, for example, to potential contract withdrawal, complaints, or claims for damages. Therefore, we retain your personal data for 10 years after the contract has ended and all related obligations have been fulfilled. We cannot delete your personal data immediately upon delivery of goods or services or at your immediate request for deletion.

In addition, under applicable legal regulations, we are obliged to retain, for example, tax documents for 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the performance took place, including your personal data stated therein.

Do I always have to give consent for the processing of my personal data?

We do not require your consent for processing your personal data if it is necessary for the performance of a contract, to comply with legal obligations imposed on us, to protect your vital interests, or where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of our company.

In other cases—such as if we wish to send you marketing or commercial communications, publish your photos, or copy your personal documents—we do require your free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent, which you have the right to withdraw at any time.

Could my personal data be misused?

We have taken all possible measures to prevent misuse or leakage of your personal data. Only a limited number of people bound by confidentiality obligations have access to your personal data. Your data is protected both organisationally and technically: computer systems are secured with access passwords and antivirus protection, and personal data in physical form is secured in locked premises inaccessible to unauthorised persons. Therefore, misuse or leakage of your data should not occur.

Do you share my personal data with other parties?

To ensure the operation of our company’s information systems, we share your personal data to a limited extent with the developers of these systems. They are required to protect your personal data in the same way we do, in compliance with applicable legal regulations. No other third party has access to your personal data.

What rights do I have in relation to the processing of my personal data?

You are entitled to all rights granted by law. You may request information about which of your personal data we process and may be given access to such data. If you suspect that we process incomplete or incorrect personal data, you can request rectification. If you suspect that our processing of your personal data violates the law or other legal regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

For any questions or information, please contact us at gdpr@barth.cz.
